Dear Gov. Pataki,

     Video lottery terminals, which are a variation on slot machines,
are unconstitutional in New York State.

     Placing VLT's at OTP parlors, restaurants, racetracks and bars
throughout New York State is the wrong way to balance the budget.

     VLT's will lead to increased gambling addiction, bankrupcy, and
hardship for New York families.

     VLT's will drain dollars from local retail stores, restaurants, and
other entertainment venues, thus hurting local economies and killing
jobs.

     I urge you to abandon your support for VLT's.
